NurseONE is a national, bilingual web-based health information service designed for the Canadian nursing community. The goal of NurseONE is to provide quick access to credible, up-to-date health care information to support nurses in Canada in delivering effective, evidence-based care, and to help them manage their careers and connect to colleagues, regardless of where or when they work. NurseONE serves as a gateway to resources and information for health care professionals in all domains of practice - direct care, education, administration, research, and policy - to support and enhance their clinical and professional expertise. HITS is offered by NurseONE as part of the Continuing Education program for nurses.
COACH represents a diverse community of over 1,000 informatics professionals, and is the source and voice for advancing the use and practice of health informatics in Canada. Providing networking opportunities, leading edge knowledge and information, conferences, special events and professional development, COACH is a dynamic resource for health informatics in Canada. The Health Information Training System is one of the valued programs provided through COACH's efforts at building capacity and capability for better information and better health care. COACH - the source and voice for advancing the use and practice of health informatics in Canada.
The Canadian Nursing Informatics Association (CNIA) exists to help nurses across Canada to learn, share, research, and create informatics-related projects and experiences that can help to boost the competencies, theory, and practice of informatics on a national level.
The Manitoba Nursing Informatics Association (MNIA) is the nurses’ voice for health informatics in Manitoba. The MNIA provides leadership in informatics, educational opportunities and a networking forum for its members. |
